Place de la Sol, a place in the sun, is a piece of paradise. It is a Caribbean-design villa, built with simplistic elegance, amid the island's natural vegetation. The villa is built around a huge patio outlining the private, in-ground, pool and facing the ocean. The one-half mile white sand beach in front of the house is ideal for walking and the protected Taylor Bay is great for swimming and frolicking in the Caribbean sea. The patio offers an uninterrupted view of the sunset.
Place de la Sol has two full size bedrooms and a den with a queen size pullout. The master bedroom is detached from the main living area and provides private sleeping quarters, with a queen size bed, a full bathroom and a separate shower. The shower is built under nature's sky with a great ocean view behind the privacy of a lattice screen.
The other bedroom is in the main living area beside the den. It offers either two twin size beds, or the beds may be pushed together to make a king size bed. There is a full size bathroom, also accessible from the den. The den is equipped with a TV receiving over 30 cable channels, a stereo with compact disc player, and a variety of games. Downstairs is the laundry room with a washer and drier, ironing board and iron.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities. In addition to all the regular appliances, there is a bread maker, pasta maker, ice tea maker, coffee grinder and a full selection of pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. There is a BBQ on the patio, perfect for grilling fresh fish and local lobster.
The dining room is finished in pine, with a large harvest table and eight chairs. This room opens onto the screened in porch. The home is relaxed, peaceful, airy and the perfect venue for a great Caribbean vacation.
