The Discovery
Channel discovered us in May 1997. They filmed the Palm
Court and our head chef,
Vernon Hughes, for their "Great Chefs" series due to air in September
1997.
Cinnamon Reef was chosen to host the State Luncheon for HRH Prince Phillip of England when he visited Anguilla.
Anguilla was chosen as one of the 10 top Islands in the world -- and the only Island in the Caribbean -- in Conde Nast "Traveller" .

"There may be bigger waves in Anguilla but Cinnamon Reef is the ripple of unpretentious luxury. Hidden away at the end of a private drive on a protected bay of a tranquil island it is tailored to those seeking small scale seclusion and fine food. Even with tennis courts and beach toys, the mood of the hotel, like Anguilla itself, says shade, hammock and Rum Punch. Leave the sequins and high heels at home." - Conde Nast Traveler
"Cinnamon Reef -it's spacious villas -beachside or cliffside -and low key manner make it a kind of place you want to return to again and again. For dinner the prettiest and perhaps best dining on Anguilla is the Palm Court restaurant at Cinnamon Reef" - Washingtonian Magazine
"Cinnamon Reef has been perking along happily for about a decade now. In many ways it is as glamorous as its West End competition." - Berlitz
"This is a fun, friendly place with a gracious staff and lots of repeat guests." - Fodors
"Guests have the feeling of living in a pleasantly informal private estate." - Frommer
"This place just keeps getting better." - Birnbaum
